6th and Vine
It's hard to put a finger on what makes 6th and Vine such a cherished restaurant/wine bar in the downtown arts district. Maybe it's the colorful outdoor patio, with its rustic brick and whimsical murals. Maybe it's the cozy, bohemian vibe in the restaurant's interior, trademarked by its rich colors and plush, second-hand furniture. Maybe it's the restaurant's ever-evolving wine list, which offers more than 40 wines by the glass.

Or maybe, it's the restaurant's delicious menu, which chef Monica Alonso describes as a little Mediterranean, a little Spanish, but nothing too out-there. You can sample some of the eclectic fare during The Big Eat, as 6th and Vine will create four dishes that reflect its signature style. Among the offerings are a pan-roasted tilapia baked with a garlic citrus herb sauce, and Cajun-style salmon cakes served with key lime. There's also a pan-seared veal cullet dish, and a pork tenderloin with a spicy mango drizzle.
So come for the food, grab a glass of wine, and relax in the restaurant's inviting ambience. It won't take long to see why 6th and Vine remains a downtown favorite.
