Back in October of 2003, Stringers was formed by brothers Jim and Tim Rufiange. After being involved with the sport of tennis virtually all their lives and working at numerous tennis clubs and pro shops, they realized that perhaps they could find a better way; thus Stringers was born. Lower prices – tennis players should not have to go broke in order to play the sport. Most club pro shops tend to charge high prices on their equipment, not at Stringers. Here you will always find highly competitive prices on all their inventory.
Diverse selection of equipment they strive to keep a full selection of equipment in stock from their vendors. New products arrive weekly. They are sure you will find just what you are looking for at Stringers.
Professional, experienced guidance – All of their staff have extensive racquet sports experience. They have accomplished players along with top-notch United States Professional Tennis Association teaching professionals on staff. Both of their stringers have years of experience. They recently were the official stringers for the Women's WRAL-TV $50,000 Challenger event held at the North Hills Club in early May. You will receive the same high quality restring service as the professional players!

Return / Exchange Policy:
Returns / Exchanges must be made within 30 days from date of purchase.
Used Merchandise CAN NOT be exchanged or refunded! PLEASE DO NOT RETURN USED MERCHANDISE.
Refunds will be for the product amount only. In the case of an unused racquet being returned for refund / exchange...if it was custom strung to your specifications, you will not receive credit on the string portion of the sale. The same applies to any other customizations made prior to shipping the racquet to you.
In the case of Tennis Shoes, credit will not be issued if the shoe box is damaged in any way or shoes are used.
You (the customer) are responsible for paying re-shipping fees for exchanged merchandise.
When returning goods to Stringers for exchange or refund, please include a copy of your invoice noting the reason for the return and your intentions regarding exchanging or receiving a credit. A phone call ahead is helpful but not necessary.
Warranty Policy:
Warranty is only for defects in the material and / or workmanship of goods. An abused racquet IS NOT COVERED by the manufacturer's warranty.
Tennis Racquets:
All new frames carry a 1-year limited manufacturers warranty. If your racquet has broken due to a manufacturer's defect, AND you have a receipt showing that it was purchased from Stringers within one year from the current date, then you can return the racquet and copy of the receipt to us (you pay the shipping charges). They will submit the warranty claim for you and will have a resolution within 4-6 weeks.
Join the Demo Club:
Join the Stringers Demo Club and demo as many racquets as you would like for a 30 day period. There are no by the day fees with this option and you can take up to two racquets at a time. It costs just $30 to join and at the end of the 30 day period that $30 can be applied toward the purchase of a NEW racquet.
As with Demo Option #1, they ask that you return the demos within 3 days of taking them out. Please call us if it is not possible for you to return the demos within 3 days as other customers may be waiting for the demo you have. Also note that failure to return Stringers demos within 7 days of taking them out will result in your credit card being charged the full Stringers retail price of the racquet(s) plus stringing.
