local color gallery is located in the Glenwood South District of Raleigh. It is an artist owned gallery consisting of artists who work in a large variety of media. Because local color gallery is artist-run, you are able to learn from the artist directly about their work. This is unique for an art gallery and made possible because their artists are all local to the area. local color participates in the gallery openings that take place on the first Friday of each month. They have a new exhibition for every First Friday opening, so make sure you come by each month to see the new works that they are featuring. Regular hours are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11am - 3pm.
