When Dutchmans first opened, the company started with owner, Stephanie Nieuwendijk and one employee who still works weekends. Over the last eight years, Dutchmans has grown to five employees and has out-grown it's original store.
Stephanie first started buying furniture from The Bramble Company in Atlanta, eight years ago,a family owned business, Ron Bramble (now Stephanie's husband), owns the wholesale distribution of The Bramble Company and his brother Rob Bramble is the manufacturer.The factory in Indonesia is handcrafted by local Indonesian artisans, using the finest quality mahogany. It is available in 16 different finishes ranging from hand-painted distressed red, to traditional wood stains. Having such close ties to the furniture manufacturer allows Stephanie to go beyond the regular catalog and design and customize pieces for her customers.
In addition to hand-made and custom designed furniture, another signature product we offer is our rosehip pot pourri and candles. We have carried them for over 7 years now and bring in new scents for each season. Like everything else in our on-line store these are available to be shipped all over the country.
