Pitt Community College

With nearly 8,000 students enrolled, Pitt Community College is one of the regions most highly- rated technical and vocational community colleges. PCC offers a variety of curricula, including 49 associate degree, 68 certificate and 24 diploma programs. The college has developed a specialization in allied health programs and currently offers more health and science curricula than any community college in the eastern part of the state.

Pitt is also a leader in distance education, with 19 programs offered entirely online and more than 200 courses offered via the Internet, N.C. Information Highway and community-based classes. Many of PCC’s continuing education and community development services, including small business counseling, adult basic education, occupational extension courses and law enforcement training, are located at the college’s Greenville Center on Memorial Drive. The college fields four intercollegiate athletic teams: baseball, men's basketball, fast-pitch softball and women's volleyball.
