Grandfather Trout Farm & Gem Mine

Grandfather Trout Farm & Gem Mine

Grandfather Trout Farm offers you and your family the opportunity to fish for trout without the hassle involved in fishing on a river or stream. They supply the gear, including rod and reels, bait and towels, ice and bags, for no extra charge and you only pay for what you actually catch. The ponds come complete with a sandy beach, miniature golf, and a gem mine. Grandfather Trout Pond's newest addition is the Follow Your Bliss retail gem and jewelry shop, which cuts and sets stones.

When's the last time your family went fishing? Why not now? At Grandfather Trout Farm, they make it simple and easy. Watch the excitement on your kids' faces when they land their first fish. Be sure to bring your camera or you may use ours. Grandfather Trout Farm is literally a North Carolina Attraction in and of itself!

You may bring your own or they will fit you with the size you need. All bait and tackle are furnished at no charge. They supply you with a bucket, towel, net and gear for your fishing needs. Don't worry if you've never fished a day in your life, they'll be happy to help you get started.

For some people, cleaning their catch is part of the fun of fishing, and you may do so, or they will clean them for you for .50 cents each. They will filet or clean your trout whole whatever you prefer. Rainbow trout may be refrigerated up to seven days of purchase. They double bag and ice down all orders. Trout cost $5.95 per pound live weight.
