How To Go:
From I-85 north of Durham, take exit 214 to N.C. 39 north. Go 4.5 miles; turn right at Harris Crossroads on S.R. 1308. Go 1.8 mile; area is on right side of bridge across Nutbush Creek.

About the John H. Kerr Reservoir, Nutbush:
An area of shoreline has been cleared of brush, and a catwalk has been constructed on the north side of the bridge. A gravel parking area is located on the south side of S.R. 1308 adjacent to the bridge. Baitfish can be collected from the catwalk with a castnet. Nutbush State Park, which offers restrooms and facilities for camping and picnicking, is located nearby.

Primary Fish Species: Largemouth bass, sunfish, crappie, catfish, carp and striped bass.

How To Go:
From I-85 north of Durham, take exit 214 to N.C. 39 north; go 5.4 miles. The area is on the right past the bridge.

About the John H. Kerr Reservoir, Williamsboro Wayside:
Several shoreline areas and trails to these areas have been cleared of brush. A gravel parking area with handicapped parking spaces has been constructed. Nutbush State Park, which offers rest rooms and facilities for camping and picnicking, is located nearby.

Primary Fish Species: Largemouth bass, sunfish, crappie, catfish, carp and striped bass.
