How To Go:
From Monroe, take N.C. 200 south toward Waxhaw. Go about 10 miles to Waxhaw, pass the first park sign and turn left on Providence Road. Go 1.8 mile and turn left on Harkey Road. Go one mile and turn right into the entrance of the Day Use Area. Follow the signs to the lake. Pay any applicable fees at the park office ($2 to enter park, $1 to fish, $2.50 to launch a boat).

About the Cane Creek Park:
Cane Creek Lake is a 350-acre impoundment. Fish feeders are located near the bank fishing area. Amenities include rest rooms, drinking water, picnic areas, camping and hiking trails.

Primary Fish Species: Largemouth bass, catfish, bluegill and crappie.
