How To Go:
From U.S. 19 south/74 west, take the Bryson City exit (exit 67). Go 1.1 mile; cross the Tuckaseegee River and a railroad track to a four-way stop intersection. Turn left on S.R. 1321; go 1.75 mile. Where the road forks, take the left fork on “Old 288” (S.R. 1321); go 0.75 mile. The fishing pier and a boat launching area are on the left.

About the Tuckaseegee River:
A 12-by-36 foot, universally accessible fishing platform has been built on the Tuckaseegee River arm of the Fontana Reservoir. A parking area is located near the pier, and a boat launching area and picnic tables are available.

Primary Fish Species: Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish and channel catfish.
