How To Go:
From U.S. 1 in Richmond County, take N.C. 177 south; turn left on S.R. 1605. Go 5.5 miles (this road becomes S.R. 1339 in Scotland County); lake is on the right.

About the Crawford Lake:
Brush has been cleared from a small area, and a small dirt boat ramp has been constructed. Bank fishing is possible, but this lake is best fished from a small boat.

Primary Fish Species: Largemouth bass, sunfish and pickerel.

How To Go:
From U.S. 1 south of Hoffman in Richmond County, take

N.C. 177 south to S.R. 1605. Turn left on S.R. 1605; go four miles; turn left on S.R. 1609. Go 0.2 mile (this road becomes S.R. 1342 in Scotland County); the area is on the left.

About the Gum Swamp Lake:
Brush has been cleared from a section of shoreline.

Primary Fish Species: Largemouth bass, sunfish and chain pickerel.

From U.S. 1 in Hoffman in Richmond County, take S.R. 1602. At the Scotland County line, this road becomes S.R. 1328. Go approximately one mile; access road is on the right.
