How To Go:
In Carthage, go south on N.C. 22 (McNeil Street). Go 0.1 mile; turn left on Saunders Street. Go 0.3 mile; turn right on Pine hurst Avenue. Go 0.5 mile; the lake is on the left.

About the Lake Luke Marion:
Brush has been cleared from several bank areas, and a 50-foot pier has been constructed. An exercise trail circles the 3-acre lake. A paved parking lot and restrooms are located at the adjacent Moore County Office Park. The lake is stocked annually with channel catfish. Fish are fed daily from April through September. Fishing tackle is available for loan for free at two nearby locations: the Moore County Parks & Recreation office and Carthage Farm Supply.

Primary Fish Species: Catfish, largemouth bass and sunfish.
