Gallery owner and artist, Chris Clark opened the doors to the public in 2001 and has been growing his vision ever since. Chris' knowledge and experience comes from travel, collecting and the formal study of Art and art history, as well as a passion for painting. This has led to an impressive collection of artists all of whom have representational painting in common, yet the diversity in the group ranges from bold expressionism to examples of restrained neo-classicism and illusionistic realism, traditional materials as well as mixed-media.
A native of North Carolina, Chris' sense of history is with him wherever he goes, and this is reflected in the many nineteenth century American and European paintings that you will find in his collection.
