Park & Ride

The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) has opened a new park and ride on Highway 311 and I-85. The 53-space facility opened this summer for use by the general public. Archdale residents can now take the PART Express to Lexington or Greensboro with various stops along the way. Some of the stops include Davidson Community College, UNCG, Women's Hospital, Moses Cone and the Greensboro depot.

Or you may be interested in a day trip to Mount Airy or Boone. Going to Chapel Hill and Durham is also an option. Monthly passes are available as well as one-way fares. A complete list of fees and schedule:

Creekside Park, near downtown Archdale, includes more than 100 acres featuring a greenway and nature trails for walking and biking, softball fields and a phenomenal recreation center. The park also hosts the annual North Carolina National Softball Association tournaments, including the Victory Junction Challenge.

In the planning, procurement and building phases, since Linda S. Neal has traveled to annual tractor auctions in Moline, IL to events that were sanctioned by John Deere World Headquarters. These auctions featured NEAL JOHN DEERE VINTAGE TRACTOR restoration. the focus of the NEAL JOHN DEERE VINTAGE TRACTOR MUSEUM is vintage John Deere tractors with low production numbers and a special collection of rare hi-crop tractors. These tractors have been restored from the ground up to not only appear as new but exhibit "like new" mechanical condition.

Located  on the grounds of Linbrook Hall estate and  near the city of Trinity, North Carolina, The Neal John Deere Tractor Museum builds on a long tradition of the family in agriculture in Randolph County, North Carolina.
