The United Nations of Comedy Tour

The United Nations of Comedy Tour is bringing the heat to the historical Paramount Theatre in Goldsboro, North Carolina with some of today’s funniest comedians on the planet. The tour is an effort to promote diversity, hence the name, United Nations... The diversity component doesn’t merely addresses ethnicity, it also provide representation of male and female comics with different comic styles. Every show brings a different line up to every city and Goldsboro has landed national comedians David Foster, Cocoa Brown and Funnyman Skiba. An insanely hysterical line up so be prepared to laugh until you begin to tear like a baby.

The Paramount Theatre was chosen as a tour visit because of its historical value. At one time, the theater was not one of full community inclusion serving only a specific demographic. Equipped with a new mission and new leadership, the theater has made great progress of reaching out to a more diverse community through its programming efforts and these efforts were recognized by tour producer, Ty Cooper. He sits on the board of an unaffiliated Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia which has similar historical woes. One of the best ways to bridge cultural gaps is to do it through the arts and what’s a better way to accomplish that than through laughter?, says Cooper. Cooper has teamed up with local promotion company BA Productions to present this show to the Goldsboro market.

There have never been a comedy show of this magnitude to ever visit the city of Goldsboro. All of the featured comedians have appeared on national programs including but not limited to: HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, MTV, TBS, Comic View, commercials, and much more. Comedian Cocoa Brown has a recurring role on Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” and has also appeared in the movie “Lakeview Terrace” alongside Samuel Jackson. David Foster has appeared regularly on MTV’s “Boiling Points” as the character Sauce as well as the “Bad Boys of Comedy” on Showtime/HBO. David has been referred to as one New York’s funniest comedians. Last but far from least, the tour’s host Funnyman Skiba is a Comic View All-Star with three appearances on Comic View. He also co-hosts a syndicated radio show and have toured the country for over 12 years and now he along with this hard-hitting ensemble of comedians are coming to you for one night only.
